Attack Ads: The American Way
The Harpocrats have released their pre-election attack ads. They know that their Clean Air Act won't hold up to scrutiny, they know that their impending budget won't satisfy the premiers. Every announcement is another opportunity to attack the Liberal record and remind people why they voted for the Harpocrats in the first place. Though not everyone did vote for them.
It's been said before and I'll say it again, why can't they campaign on their own record of slashing women's programs, environmental programs, childcare programs, literacy programs, programs to benefit our aboriginal populations, programs that would help the addicted get off of drugs and so on. Why aren't they campaigning on that? And I'm certain I've forgotten some of the cuts they made.
The secret agenda is not a secret anymore but the Harpocrats want us to forget what they've done and they want us to focus on what the Liberals didn't do.
