If it can happen there who's to say that it won't happen here? Is this the unwritten fear that Canadians have about the U.S? That if we take too many steps away from their policies and diktats that soon they'll start murdering Canadian citizens too? Isn't that what they want to do with Marc Emery who's still pending an extradition hearing.
